One of the most annoying situations people can find themselves in is when you are on a plane or train a child, usually between 3 to 5, will come up to them and just stare, not do anything else just stare and as soon as eye contact is made they either start laughing or crying. Both lead to extremely awkward scenarios, if the child cries the parent looks up from their magazine and walks over and picks up their kids, if the child laughs, you have two choices, one is to ignore the child until it gets bored, the second option is to try and get it to laugh again but that is very creepy. If you choose the first option, the parents (who will stay in their seats) will tell their child to sit down and "stop annoying the man" In which case what do you say?!
